1. You are one of the most considerate and zhi dong friends among us.
2. You are the VOICE of the group - most of the time. Meaning you make yourself heard and you make decisions, which is good.
3. Despite what you think, you have achieved pretty much good stuff in the past year. Good photography skills, better academic grades and a greater capacity to listen.
4. You listen and keep secrets well. You know what I mean. :)
5. You offer to send people home -- no questions asked.
6. You shoot pictures, edit them, write witty comments and post on the blog for the plebians to admire and be jealous of. That's the mark of a good blogger.
7. You treat Baileys well enough not to be arrested by SPCA.
8. You keep yourself in good shape by taking up fencing and swimming. That's good discipline.
9. You give great advice.

Fear and Loathing in Ria Bintan

Finally, a trip to call our own. We had Sydney back in 2004 but that was without some people. Now we have Bintan and everyone on board and stories to tell. Go onto Ashley's blog (grain.livejournal.com) for pictures and comments. For here, it's just a basic recap.

10 highlights:

1. Raindrops falling on our head when we arrived = no water sports to do. Sterling's mix up of Nirwana Hotel Resort and Nirwana Beach Club. Sorry, no bathroom slippers to bring home dude.

2. 3 guys and a girl sharing the same room (separated by a curtain) while TOPLESS and having a body scrub. Ashley feels terrified.

3. Dancing in the moonlight at the beach's club La Luna. Girls and tits galore. Ghim's lucky night (sort of).

3a. The Reaping starring Ronald Wan. Attacked by night creatures. Damsel in distress phoned Ghim the hero for help.

4. Kayaking and capsizing. Monster Kris attacks.

5. Snorkelling at Barucuda Island. Ronald survives.

6. Go-Karting! Geetha completes (almost) a full lap.

7. "Me and my fake tattoo friends," says Geetha. Kris turns "Constantine". Terence turns "Ah Beng". Ghim turns "Jewish". Adeline turns "perfume ad girl". Ashley turns "sexy back". Ronald turns "flamboyant french lover".

8. Sumptuous and cheap late dinner at Kelong Restaurant. Of Black pepper crabs, cereal prawns, fried tofu, crispy fried chicken sambal kangkong.

9. A wild night involving certain people doing crazy dares. Someone moaned very loudly, someone else stripped to his push-up undies, someone else humped a lamp and enjoyed it very much, someone else screwed someone else and then someone else screwed more of someone else and someone else played mr policeman.

10. Jumping jacks & star jumps. In briefs. Total humiliation.
